Joe Ryan, candidate for Congress in the 52nd District
The Only INDEPENDENT Candidate Running in the the 52nd District

Joe Ryan Does not Accept Money from Anyone!

DEFICIT SPENDING

THE DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS ARE COMPLETELY INSANE WHEN IT COMES TO FISCAL MATTERS: We can't go on financing the federal budget with deficit spending. Lots of politicians point that fact out, but a close examination of their opinions, and policy decisions indicates they are afraid to say 'no' to any constituency, on any issue where cost savings could be achieved. They want a bigger military, with bases throughout every continent; yet they say they are all for a balanced budget. Some say they are for a balanced budget; yet they continuously fund the insane goal of sending men to Mars so they can colonize a dead rock. Joe Ryan realizes that there are many scientific advances that grow out of NASA Space projects, but going to Mars is just plain nuts. Especially when we have to borrow the money to do it.

When we build a 'bridge to nowhere' or a 'plane to nowhere' (as in Duncan Hunter's case), it's the children who aren't even 18 yet, who will be paying for those projects the rest of their lives.

Let's face it, there are some extremely selfish people amongst us that don't care about deficit spending because they don't care what happens to future generations. And then there are those that don't even understand that we borrow money to fund government functions. Outvote the selfish and the uneducated voters who support the Two Major party's deficit spending stupidity, and put Joe Ryan in office. Then the 52nd District representative can cease being identified as part of the problem. You can count on Joe Ryan, if elected, to stop voting for deficit financed budgets.

Here's a Prime example of absolute fiscal INSANITY that Joe Ryan would try to put an end to: The California Community College system is under financial siege; so what do you suppose they pay the Chancellors of each Community College District? The head of the San Jose Community College got 293,000.00 in salary. along with a $147,000.00 dollar bonus! That's 444K, plus lavish benefits that include stays in luxury hotels (right near her home), limousine services, dinners at fancy restaurants, trips to foreign lands (just coincidentally, to her country of birth), and on, and on. Then her pension will be based upon at least half her compensation, so she'll be getting another 200k plus healthcare and other benefits for the rest of time. She's retiring even though she's relatively young, but the money will keep flowing since she just gave huge salary increases and bonuses to her lover, who makes 122K working for the District. So, the happy couple will pull in almost 600k, plus benefits this year. That' INSANE!!!!!

NO GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE SHOULD MAKE MORE THAN 100,000,00 DOLLARS A YEAR: If elected, Joe Ryan would propose a federal bill, to limit federal education funding to any state that pays anyone in the Education system over $100,000.00 dollars a year. Joe Ryan does not generally believe in federal control over state based education decisions, so he disfavors federal funding of state education; but as long as a state is getting money from the federal government, our representatives in congress have a duty to ensure that money is not thrown down a rat-hole. So, there would be no 600K dollars couples if Joe Ryan's proposed bill passed. Couples engaged in nepotism would be limited to taking us for 200k a year.

THERE WON'T EVEN BE A MEANINGFUL ELECTION CONTEST IN NOVEMBER WITHOUT JOE RYAN ON THE BALLOT, SINCE THE DEMOCRAT HAS ALREADY THROWN IN THE TOWEL:

Joe Ryan and Duncan Hunter participated in the biggest parade in San Diego this past weekend (July 4th, Independence Day)), but the Democrat took a pass on meeting and greeting 40,000 voters. What does that say about his intentions and why he is in the race. He seems to be going though the motions just to fill a spot on the ballot, so attention doesn't fall outside of the two major party candidates. The party isn't giving him the usual money to run, so he's just there doing nothing. In the primary, he just put up a few signs around La Mesa and El Cajon, while ignoring the rest of the County.
Without someone like Joe Ryan in the race, there won't be any candidate able to effectively challenge the way the two major party's behave during and after election season. Without Joe Ryan on the ballot, the election contest for the 52nd District race won't be an election, it will be a meaningless, boring, walkover, devoid of interesting debate. Duncan Hunter will stomp the Democrat by a relatively gigantic margin, without ever having to explain his family's support for the Fannie Mae bailout, Wall Street's deregulation of the derivatives market & deep water drilling off Pacific Beach.
Voters can ensure that the two major party candidates will be confronted about selling the nation out, time and time again, by going to the ballot-petition page, before July 15th (where you can print out a ballot petition form). The page contains complete instructions on how to fill in the ballot petition, along with a mailing address for completed petitions.
