10/12/08 (24 days to election day, with mail-in voting already occurring): Joe Ryan declared his candidacy on May 13, 2008, and he published his website at that time. He's contacted the media repeatedly, but as of day 155 (into Joe's campaign), there has not been one mention of Joe Ryan's name in any media available in the East County. That's right, NOT ONE WORD. Not even the seven letters of his name printed in a free-grocery mailer.  

10/22/08 Update: Joe got arrested, so the Michele Clock finally got the chance she's been waiting for, and she finally covered Joe Ryan's candidacy. So now we know what it takes for an anti-globalist to get covered in this town.

The FOUR BILLIONAIRES VETOING JOE RYAN'S CANDIDACY

One of the main reasons Joe Ryan ran for office was because unelected billionaires are controlling elected officials and much of the available public discourse; so it's ironic that the four biggest news outlets in San diego are owned or controlled by billionaires who are globalist (David Copley, Sam Zell, the McKinnon family, and John Moores), and none will acknowledge Joe Ryan's existence in the race.

 FAIR PLAY ISN'T TOTALLY DEAD

10/8 - Thanks to Rick Amato of KCBQ for breaking the total media blackout covering Joe Ryan's campaign, and thanks to the Dehesa Valley Community Council for allowing Joe Ryan's election-message to be heard. Some people who heard Joe Ryan at the debate sponsored by the Dehesa Community Council, or the debate held on Rick Amato's show, will vote for Joe Ryan and many may choose not to vote for Joe, but at least they know who ALL the candidates in the race are.

You Can always Count on KPBS to try and manipulate public Opinion

As usual KPBS is running interference for the major party candidates. It's bad enough that a third party candidate only gets on the PBS evening news once every few years, but apparently people who live right here amongst us in this community, also feel the need to shill for the two major parties, while they simultaneously deceive voters (to help their benefactors from the major parties). KPBS held a debate amongst the candidates for the 52nd district and they excluded me (Joe Ryan). I talked to Natalie Walsh (Tom Fudge's show-producer) and asked her if I could be included, but she told me to forget it. She said that it was the station's policy to cover the top two vote-getters from the primary. I told her that primaries are for party candidates and that independents don't even run in a primary; but she turned on her aire of superiority and shut me down cold. Then I listened to the so-called debate, and host Tom Fudge never mentioned the existence of any other candidates in the race, and he actually went out of his way to falsely convey to the public that there were no other candidates in the race (besides the democrat and republican).

John Moore's (the guy who bribed SD Councilperson Stallings) keeps Giving $$$

John Moores, the guy who got rich looting a local firm, and the same guy who got caught bribing San Diego Councilwoman Valerie Stallings, is now giving money to Mike Lumpkin. Moores gave Lumpkin $2,300.00 (the maximum allowed by law), and he'll be expecting something for his money. John Moores is KPBS's biggest local donor; so it's hardly surprising that KPBS protects Mike Lumpkin and KPBS employees purposefully deceive voters in order to please a disgusting criminals like John Moores. I don't think Mike's the kind of guy who can be bought off, but John Moore's will sure be trying.

No Integrity, No Shame, and Bad Excuses

People like Michele Clock, Paul Bloom, Tom Fudge and Natalie Walsh should be ashamed of themselves, but my impression is that none of the globalist tools have an ounce of shame (like all other amoral tools of the NWO criminal syndicate). One of the reporters may do a hit-piece on me after reading this, but you can rest assured they will never treat me fairly. I have the best credentials to be the representative (a law degree and business experience, versus none for my younger opponents); I have a potent message (no money accepted); and the electorate is insanely mad right now. Furthermore, independents may now comprise the largest block of voters in the 52nd district; so the Globalist tools aren't taking any chances with my 'minor' candidacy.

THE FACTS ABOUT MICHELE CLOCKS 'REPORTING' - By Joe Ryan

By Joe Ryan: I've been in contact with Michele Clock (East County 'reporter' for the the Union-Tribune) on eight or nine separate occasions (e-mail and phone calls). Michele Clock interviewed me about my views on the issues on the phone. Michele Clock (or someone from the Union-Tribune) visited my campaign website at least 12 times, and spent quite a bit of time reading different pages that delat with my viewpints. Yet, despite these facts, Michele Clock continues to lie to the public; writing articles for the Tribune wherein she tells the public that there are just three candidates in the 52nd district congressional race. Obviously, she has made a decison to deceive the public without any shame at all! Joe Ryan doesn't expect to get the same amount of coverage as candidates who are on the ballot for well-established, large political parties; however, telling the public, "The Three Candidates . . . " are doing this or that, when you know of a fourth candidate is just plain dishonest! Even though it's almost impossible for independent candidates to make the ballot, the percentage of independents in East-San Diego County exceeds 25% of the voters and it's rising fast. Nonetheless, Michele Clock has either decided she doen't like my anti-Tribune views or she doesn't believe I can win the race. Do Michele Clock's personal views serve as a justification for dishonestly deceiving the public the public about how many candidates are in the 52nd district race? Would it have been OK, if the Union 'decided' Donna Frye couldn't win the race for San Diego mayor in 2004 (as a write-in candidate), and then pretended she didn't exist when they wrote pieces about the race? Would it be OK if they pretended she didn't exist because she had views they didn't want the public to hear about. JR

Who appointed you the gatekeeper of the 52nd district election? Which of my views must I change so that you will admit I exist and tell the public about the info you learned about me when you interviewd me on the phone, and when you visited my website over and over? Is there a list somewhere that I can access, that I can look at before I run for office again, that will help me to understand what I'm not allowed to say? Since you don't have a list yet, may I ask if it's my oposition to the globalist crime syndicate that bothers you? Or could it be my message about getting money out of politics that has you upset with me? I understand that David Copley pays you well to deceive the public, but couldn't you slip my name into the paper on a day when he's extra drunk and high on cocaine (Pick most any day of the week and you probably couldn't miss)? Globalist-Media Blackout Continues: Oppose the globalist, and get Zero press coverage

Not one TV Station, and not one newspaper dares mention my name. They don't want to upset anyone in the republican or democratic crime machines by giving my campaign any publicity. Some are afraid of offending the real estate industry they rely on for most of their revenue. Journalism is just a public-relations scam now. Many reporters don't care if they deceive people for their bosses and masters, as long as they can keep that paycheck or ad revenue coming in. New Website Coming Soon that will track globalist imbedded in San Diego's Media

I will be starting a new website to deal with all of the self-appointed San Diego election-info gatekeepers who deceive the public and lie about my existence, and the existence of other independent candidates. If we expose dishonest reporters like Michele Clock, Gene Cubbison, and Paul Bloom when they deceive the public, hopefully most people will know realize none of the aforementioned reporters or the outlets they work for can be trusted. Bottom Line, the first question to ask when reading anything written by Michele Clock or produced by Steve Cohen of KUSI, is this: What are they not telling me, in order to deceive me and affect my opinion? And that's the same question to keep in mind when reading anything printed in the NC Times, The Union-Tribune, and The Ramona Sentinel, as long as manipulative gatekeepers like Kent Davy, David Copley, and Jeff Mitchell edit those partisan, republican party rags.

Ramona Sentinel says, 'want coverage, pay for it'

At least the people working at the Ramona Sentinel had the guts to just tell me to my face they wouldn't bother to cover my candidacy (even though they've covered every other candidate in the race). The Sentinel is upfront; after they told me my campaign wasn't 'worthy' of notice, they sent me a flier that informed me that I can pay for coverage if I want it. Most Real Estate rags - like the Ramona Sentinel - will be going under within a couple years, so we probably won't have to worry about their deceptive election coverage much longer.

KUSI INTEGRITY CHECK: HOW DISHONEST CAN YOU BE?

It's pretty hard to win an election as an outsider when one of the most widely viewed TV stations in town decides to throw integrity to the wind because they don't a particular candidate's message. I (Joe Ryan) wrote to KUSI twice and announced my candidacy; then I went to KUSI's main office on Viewridge Avenue and I parked my 20 foot campaign van in front of the general manager's window, and I went inside and asked the station to cover my campaign. The general manager came out and we said hello. Then I went out and got in my van, that had been parked 15 feet directly in front of the general manager's office, and I left. Two days later, KUSI invited the other three candidates to their studio for a debate, intentionally cutting me out of the discussion. Then they didn't even have the honesty or integrity to admit that there was another candidate in the race. Throughout the half-hour show, Paul Bloom referred to "the three candidates" as being the only persons in the race. So my opponents were each given 10 minutes to contact San Diego voters, and my name wasn't even be mentioned. It's not that I didn't get coverage. They actually did the opposite. By deceiving voters into thinking only three candidates were in the race, when they knew there were four candidates in the race; they engaged in a purposeful act of voter-deception. They crushed my campaign through PURE MANIPULATION (along with their friends at the Tribune, and other SD media outlets). My opponents got 10 minutes with the voters, and I can't even have my name mentioned after a year of non-stop effort.

MCKINNON CRIME FAMILY WANTS TO BUY TRIBUNE NOW

As if rigging elections and shilling for the Hunter family and the development industry - on TV - isn't doing enough damage to the community, now the McKinnon crime family wants to buy the Tribune from David Copley (the disgusting Billionaire money-PIG that currently owns the Union-Tribune). That explains why KUSI left Joe Ryan out of it's election debate. Wouldn't want to give any coverage to someone who has attacked the Tribune's integrity now would we. What's obviously important to the McKinnons is MONEY, not integrity. Honesty can be tossed aside like a used dish rag if it gets in the way of the 'journalist' at KUSI. Billionaire election manipulators must stick together! They might as well, since scumbags like The McKinnons, David Copley, and John Moore's (KPBS's Daddy, Lumpkin contributor, and known briber of politicians) are part of the criminal syndicate that has destroyed capitalism, looted the wealth of everyone's 401k, and set the world on a path to anarchy, war, and destruction.

THE McKINNONS ARE MASTERS OF DECEPTION AND DECEIT

The McKinnon family is slicker than you think. Here in San Diego, they tuck far right and they always endorse anti-immigration candidates. That's popular here, and it sells much better than being 'hispanic-friendly'. The McKinnons also own a TV station in Texas, and that station, though located in the united States, is all about promoting things hispanic. In San Diego the Sunday morning show is called, Good Morning SD; but in Texas, the McKinnons call their Sunday morning show, 'Domingo'. The point I'm making doesn't concern being 'for or against immigration' or being considered 'pro-hispanic or anti-hispanic' in some sense; The point is, that the McKinnons have no real political soul to speak; they just do whatever is going to get them the most revenue, protect their friends, or protect investments they are eyeing; and consistency & integrity are nothing more than a public relations problem. The McKinnon family has decided to shaft Joe Ryan (me) because they figure they can get away with it. It's a cost-to-benefit calculation for pretend-journalist at a propaganda outfit like KUSI. Joe Ryan doesn't have a party apparatus backing him, and ALL the other media outlets won't cover Joe Ryan's campaign; so ripping off the public and deceiving the voters about who is in the race carries little public relations risk. On the other hand, KUSI doesn't want to make the Hunter family mad. The Hunters are mainstays on KUSI. The station owners are big pals of Duncan Hunter sr. They don't want to wreck a and a fantastic criminal partnership - that has produced so well in the past - by actually covering Baby Hunter's opponents.

 Baby Hunter needs Daddy's friends because it's obvious from listening to him this week on KPBS and on KUSI that the kid is worst than clueless. He has no business running for office at all! His so-called 'business experience' is a complete sham that KUSI and the Union-Tribune allow him to sputter about endlessly without questioning the basis os his claims. He has no business experience. Show the public the documents that show he actually ever sold a website or his so-called website building business. But Noooooo. Instead KUSI hides baby Duncan's opponents from the public view and they go on shilling for someone who has no business even insulting the public with his candidacy. The kid knows absolutely nothing about economics, foreign policy, business, or anything else significant. He can wave the Bible while he takes money from porn producers because I'm not allowed to be heard. He can claim the Surge will work in Afghanistan because I'm not there to challenge him in any debates. All three just roll through the EXACT same talking points every time they meet in a so-called debate. I (Joe Ryan) was allowed to debate (on 1170AM and at the Dehesa Valley Council); the debates were 10x as lively, and Joe Ryan's opponents couldn't lie with abandon. Without Joe in the debate, all three went right back to being boldly dishonest. Even though Joe Ryan debated Mike Benoit and Mike Lumpkin this week, as soon as the two Mikes were safely behind KUSI's shield, they went ahead and claimed to be the "only" candidate in the race taking this or that position (choose any of my ideas they've co-opted off my website). Total complete dishonesty, made possible by the deception enablers at KUSI. It's amazing that the only honest person in the race, who has any integrity at all, is the only person KUSI will not let you know about. Doesn't that say it all about why this country is in a fix? Traitors in the media, rigging elections, and twisting public opinion, so that anyone who tells the truth about the network of human-swine that run this county, and who cannot be bought-off by scumbags like David Copley and Michael D. McKinnon have absolutely no chance of holding office. SUGGESTIONS FOR KUSI

Would it be too much to ask that you actually make some effort at being journalist. You know, getting up off your lazy, corrupt rear-ends and actually doing a story on the harassment that has been visited upon Joe Ryan by your scumbag friends (the Hunter family). Oh, That's right, KUSI has an important quilting-bee it has to reserve it's air-time for. And then the rest of it's air-time is needed so that Turko-the-distractor has time to do do fourteen segments about three untrimmed weeds he found in a drainage ditch last week.

CONTENT BASED CENCORSHIP?

 There are many reasons why a media-outlet might not cover a candidate. Some outlets only publish once a month, some don't have resources to cover candidates, etc. But sometimes a media outlet makes a decision to not cover a candidate, because they simply disagree with the candidates message. Private media outlets can do what they want; they are not required by any law to treat candidates equally, as a government institution would be. Nonetheless, when analyzing censorship issues, it's useful to look at principals that guide government sponsored conduct. The government may censor a message where circumstances and time restraints render the censorship reasonable (reasonably related to a legitimate government interest); however the government may not censor speech where the censorship is based upon the content of the speech (the speaker's message). Basically, we acknowledge that time and place based restraints on speech are fine where necessary; but we consider content based restraint of speech to be un-American. Which brings me back to private media. The laws may not apply to private media, but the principals of free speech do. When a newspaper refuses to cover a candidate or acknowledge their candidacy, most claim they did so for a 'time, and place' based reason. In other words, they say, 'we didn't have time or the resources to cover the candidacy'. In line with free speech principals, nobody would think anything less of a newspaper that really couldn't cover a particular candidate for a good, legitimate reason. Stuff happens. However, where a media outlet picks out one particular candidate, and where they effectively hide the candidate from the public by pretending to provide 'comprehensive' election coverage, without acknowledging the candidate's existence in the race, that would not be considered fair or moral, and in fact, most persons would consider such behavior to be dishonest, deceitful, and un-American. HERE'S THE FACTS: You decide why the Union won't cover me

The Union has a reporter covering East County politics named Michele Clock. I have talked to Michele Clock briefly, 3 or 4 times since late summer. She is aware that I'm in the race, and that I have been engaging in election activity since May when I filed a declaration of intention to run for the office (with the county registrar). Since Independents have to collect 10,253 signatures to qualify for the ballot, she was also aware that I would be qualifying as a write-in candidate. The last time I talked to Michele she indicated that she didn't need to talk to me about my viewpoints because the registrar of voters was still counting my last batch of signatures (needed to qualify as a write-in candidate). My impression was, she was going to go ahead and write an article about the election, and leave me out of it, as if I didn't exist. I dropped my last batch of signatures at the registrar on Thursday, (September 25th). I notified Michele that I had done so, and I told her about how I wouldn't qualify until Monday or Tuesday due to the registrar's delays (the registrar refused to count my signatures on Thursday or Friday). Finally I qualified on Monday. On Tuesday (September 30th), the Union-Tribune ran an article on the election, and Michele didn't acknowledge my existence in the race. So, did she really have to squeeze the article in the day after I qualified, and what was the real reason for leaving me out of the coverage? Let's go back a bit. Remember, Michele told me she wasn't interested in learning about my viewpoints 'because I hadn't qualified yet' (even though she knew I would likely qualify, as soon as the registrar would count my signatures).

Was that the truth? I don't think so. Before Michele 'decided' she didn't need to know my viewpoints on issues, she, or someone working at the Tribune visited my website twelve times in one day, and they apparently spent a lot of time reading all about my views. So, was it Michele who was visiting my site? Well, consider this. Immediately, after I learned about Michele deceiving the public, I wrote her an e-mail where I told her that I would expose her dishonest manipulation of the voters on my campaign website. Almost immediately after I wrote Michele that e-mail, the same domain address visited my site again. So, I'm going to go out on a short limb and say it was Michele that visited my site on both occasions, and that I was left out of the Union-Tribune's coverage for 'content' based reasons, and that was she did to me (and the voting public) was definitely deceptive, dishonest, and un-American! What do expect from someone who came out of the propaganda factory they call, the Washington Post.

BEST EXCUSE CONTEST :

So Far we have two contestants and an honorable mention:

1) KPBS. 'These days with Tom Fudge' producer, Natalie Walsh, told Joe Ryan that she would not include him in the debate because he was not one of the top two vote getters in the primary held June 3rd. After being told that independent candidates don't run in primaries, Natalie scratched her thick skull, and said, 'we have a policy, get lost'.

 2) KUSI. KUSI says they didn't include me in their televised debate, because they didn't know I was in the race. I guess that 20-foot long van parked I parked in front of KUSI's front door last week - that's covered in 'Joe Ryan For Congress' Info - didn't clue them in. My e-mails, press release, and the campaign business-cards I dropped off with the receptionist, didn't clue them in either. And they apparently can't read the whole San Diego Registrar's candidate list too. Once they get to the third candidate, their eyesight suddenly goes bad, before they notice the fourth listing (Joe Ryan). KUSI says they only included mike Benoit in the debate, after Libertarian Party members e-mailed and complained of his exclusion. So, excluding the only candidate in the race who represents at least 25% of the electorate (probably 45-50% if everyone re-registerd right now), while including a guy who represents 2% of the registered voters, is fair, because a tiny band of loyal Libertarians wrote some e-mails to KUSI. Nevermind, Joe Ryan didn't even hear of the debate ahead of it's taping, so he did not know that he should have supporters e-mail KUSI in order to secure a spot in the election contest. It would have been real nice if the general manager of KUSI (who came out and exchanged pleasantries with Joe Ryan, when Joe visited KUSI) mentioned to Joe that he was being shafted out of the debate; but he's a cowardly manipulator, so that didn't happen.

3) EAST COUNTY CHAMBER OF TRAITORS: In a classic Ron Paul/Dennis Kucinich redo (applied to a congressional race), the East County Chamber of Commerce says they are not going to allow Joe Ryan to debate Duncan Hunter, because 'the chamber's leaders had a meeting, and they decided that Joe Ryan didn't have a good chance of winning the election'. I guess it didn't have anything to do with the fact that the Chamber of Commerce has become a wing of the republican party power structure. The chamber - which says it's all about helping small businesses -is going to hold a debate between two candidate's with Zero, verifiable business experience, but Joe Ryan, who has more than 20 years of business experience is not allowed to speak. That's because 'helping business' is just a cover. The Chamber's leadership has been taken over by globalist (promoters of unfair trade, and unbridled globalism). The globalist agenda is poison for most of the small businesses the chamber puports to represent. Update: The Ramona Sentinel ran an op-ed piece wherein voters were told that 'independent, non-partisan voters were "Sheep" if they voted for an independent candidate in the 52nd district congressional race. Of course, the piece never identifies who this mysterious, unknown 'independent candidate' is. The piece was designed to strip away support Joe Ryan built up living in Ramona the last four years; but the author (Rick Powell) had to be very careful so that anyone who didn't know about Joe Ryan's existence in the race, didn't become aware of Joe Ryan's existence through the article. That's lowdown!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rick Powell insults the only people who are fighting the system, while shilling for the corpo-fascist-communist and their allies in the media; and Jeff Mitchell gives him a platform for his manipulative, sneaky attack on Joe Ryan. A perfect example of how some traitors are wielding their military service as a shield against the patriots who are opposing the New World Order. Either Rick doesn't have a clue, or he's willing to dishonor all who care about the constitution, and all those who died in previous wars in order to sustain the freedoms his scumbags friends in the major parties are trying to eliminate.
