JOE RYAN ON THE TEA PARTY:
JOE RYAN AGREES WITH MOST OF THE AGENDA ESPOSED BY TEA PARTY MEMBERS, BUT HE ALSO BELIEVES THAT THE MOVEMENT ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING AND THAT IT'S BECOME A FARCE DUE TO ITS CLOSE ASSOCIATION WITH THE REPUBLICAN PARTY
The Tea Party Moevment started strong and had laudable goals, but Joe Ryan believes the movement is all but dead, due to the fact that the movement has been co-opted by RepublicanParty operatives, to the point that the group has no Independence from the Republican Party, and that the non-partisan characteristics of the group have been extinguished.
Tea Party rallies are engineered by Republican Party operatives, in order to convey the mesage that mainstream Republicans who have thrived on the graft that embodies modern politics, are 'revolutionary defenders of the constitution'. Meanwhile, any candidate for office who truly opposes big corporate interests and who is really on the people's side, has no chance of speaking at a Tea Party event. That's why you'll never see someone identified as an "independent candidate' speak at a Tea Party rally. Tea Party shills will pretend to be independent and they'll try to steal the brand name of non-partisan voters by calling themselves 'Independent' or calling their group, a non-partisan forum, the truth is, all the local Tea Party groups are completely controlled by the Republican Party.
If the group is completely controlled by the Republican Party, and 95% of the remaining, active members are registered Republicans or Republicans calling themselves 'independents' due to the shame of being associated with the Republican Party, then isn't the Tea Party, just the Republican Party in disguise? Isn't the Tea Party just a vehicle to siphon Independent voters away from the Democrats, under false pretenses? Joe Ryan believes that's the case, so he isn't going to go out of his way to associate with the Tea Party any more, just like he doesn't go out of his way to asociate with hard core, partisan Democrats; since neither group displays any intellectual flexibility when it comes to solving problems, or toning down the pointless namecalling, and petty arguments that typify the Democrta-Republican Party divide.
All local Tea Party Groups - based in San Diego County - support Duncan Hunter, despite Duncan Hunter's vote in favor of the mother of all bailouts (the Fannie Mae bailout), proving that local Tea Party members, who constantly cry about Obama's bailouts, are either uninformed, don't care about the constitution, are just plain dumb, or they're unshamable hypocrites.
