THE ECONOMY:
STOP POLITICAL CRIME SO WE CAN START FIXING THE ECONOMY: FIRST OF ALL, JOE RYAN BELIEVES WE CAN'T EVEN BEGIN TO THINK ABOUT FIXING THE ECONOMY UNLESS WE PUT A STOP TO THE LOOTING OF MAIN STREET AND TAXPAYER WEALTH, ACCOMPLISHED VIA CRIMINAL RACKETEERING SCHEMES, THAT ARE BEING AIDED AND ENABLED BY THE LEADERS OF BOTH MAJOR PARTIES.
DEFICIT SPENDING MUST BE BROUGHT UNDER CONTROL: Deficit spending delivers short term gains to the party holding most of the power - at any given time - but the cost is too high considering the benefits that should flow from government spending our consistently negated by government waste and fraud, as well as expenditures that amount to little more than 'make-work' corporate welfare directed at particular congressional districts.
JOE RYAN IS WILLING TO MAKE TOUGH, POLITICALLY UNPOPULAR DECISIONS NECESSSARY TO REDUCING FUTURE DEFICITS: Tough, unpopular decisions will have to be made in atmosphere free of corrupt influence, so that federal spending is cut down to where only essential functions of government are funded. Unemployment will not decrease in any significant manner until efficient private business - unsubsidized by the government and unable to socialize losses - hire workers with capital that would otherwise be drained away into government coffers via the huge tax increases that are an inevitable, and that will have to be made permanent, unless deficit spending is curtailed and eliminated.
Joe Ryan knows that the rules of politics dictate that he not make specific recommendations regarding where bloat can be cut from popular programs; but Joe Ryan does not follow the rules set by the two major party's political strategist. He prefers a more open and honest style of doing political-business. With that point in mind, Joe Ryan is willing to state for the record that we cannot afford to waste any more money in Afghanistan, and he believes all space exploration involving interplanetary and intergalactic travel should be halted.
JOE RYAN DOESN'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH CONSTITUTIONALLY APPROPRIATE FEDERAL PROGRAMS RUN EFFICIENTLY, THAT PROVIDE A MEASURABLE BENEFIT TO COUNTRY: Joe Ryan doesn't have a problem with NASA programs (or most other programs that do not invade state's rights) that deliver an immediate, measurable benefit; such as programs essential to maintaining satellites. Joe Ryan thinks spending billions on colonizing Mars, at this time, is simply madness! If that costs Joe Ryan some votes with the Star Trek crowd, so be it.
JOE RYAN DOESN'T BELIEVE THAT HEALTHY CORPORATE PROFITS ARE A GOOD INDICATOR REGARDING WHETHER CAPITALISM IS THRIVING WHERE THE SAME CORPORATIONS ARE PAYING OFF THE TWO MAJOR PARTIES, TO SOCIALIZE THEIR LOSSES AND PASS THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR FOOLISH, IRRESPONSIBLE, CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR, ONTO SOCIETY AT-LARGE : As of July 2010, corporate profits are way up, and corporate America is sitting on approximately 1.8 trillion dollars; but Joe Ryan does not believe corporate profits are the best gauge to determine whether most citizens of the 52nd District and the rest of the nation, are better off than they were a few years ago. Joe Ryan is supporter of capitalism, but he's not a supporter of unbridled corporatism; a system he believes involves the destruction of capitalism. Corporatism is the force behind anti-democratic, socialization of corporate losses. Joe Ryan firmly believes that taxpayer subsidization of corporate losses, that are based upon unsound conduct of business, harms capitalism, not only by undermining the very foundation of good business (innovation, invention, and efficient business practices), but through the staining of 'capitalism' in the eyes of members of the public, who are not able to discern the difference between corporatism and capitalism.
JOE RYAN SHARES THE VIEW THAT GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIZATION OF REAL ESTATE BUBBLES ARE ANTI-CONSUMER, DESTRUCTIVE OF COMMUNITIES AND FAMILIES, AND TURN COMMON SENSE ON IT'S HEAD; AS MONEY THAT WOULD OTHERWISE BE USED TO CREATE AND EXPAND BUSINESS IS DRAINED FROM CITIZENS, AND COMMUNITIES, SO UNHEALTHY, ANTI-PRODUCTIVE BANKING SCHEMES CAN PROLIFERATE: Joe Ryan believes that the sub-prime crisis has exposed many inequities that have been purposefully built-in to our financial system. Joe Ryan also believes that, aside from mortgage related issues, on issue after issue, the Democrats and Republicans have been going overboard to protect large institutional investors, and investment banks, while ignoring the needs of small and medium size investors, as well as the seniors and other citizens who have fixed incomes (and who get hurt the most when interest rates get slashed, and inflation takes off).
Meanwhile, persons with no connection to the whole subprime fiasco (homeowners with positive equity and a stable mortgage, renters, etc.) are going to be financially drilled for decades to come, as the country pays off the debt created by the various bailouts.
VOTING FOR JOE RYAN IS THE ONLY SIGNIFICANT ACTION, A VOTER OF THE 52ND DISTRICT, CAN TAKE TO SEND A SERIOUS MESSAGE TO THE LEADERS OF BOTH MAJOR PARTIES: It seems that every day a new scandal emerges from wall street. Every time a large financial scandal unfolds before the public, the democrats and republicans feign outrage, while they fashion deals that allow the perpetrators of the fraud to walk away from their actions, in a manner that ensures that 'crime pays', and in a manner that ensures more schemes will be launched upon the unsuspecting US public. If elected, Joe Ryan would never cooperate in helping the major parties ensure that 'crime pays'.
We are in dire straits because the Democratic party and The Republican Party have gone to bed with persons who are committing financial terror. Nothing will change until the voters expel the money changers from the halls of congress by electing a candidate like Joe Ryan - who refuses to accept political contributions from anyone. Joe Ryan will actively oppose the Federal Reserve Bank's financial-bubble creation machine. If elected, Joe Ryan will not stay silent while New York firms invent ways to strip the wealth from every corner of the country. Democrats and Republicans fall for the Beltway Think Tank propaganda almost the moment they reach Washington. Independent Candidate Joe Ryan utilizes his brain cells without waiting for instructions from Party bosses, and without listening to major media tools, or beltway idiots masquerading as serious policy experts.
ELECT INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES WHO CARE ABOUT ECONOMICS & UNEMPLOYMENT
Electing lots of Independent candidates - like Joe Ryan - who understand economics, and who can't be bought-off, is the first step towards reversing the Nation's economic course. Joe Ryan is first and foremost a Capitalist; however he recognizes that capitalism is a great system in the hands of honorable businessman, but an abusive rotten system when persons lacking scruples gain control over the levers of the entire economy. Rigging the nations laws, so that stealing and looting is not deterred and rarely punished (harming true innovators and honest investors in the process) has nothing to do with capitalism; it's simply criminal behavior.
THERE WON'T EVEN BE A MEANINGFUL ELECTION CONTEST IN NOVEMBER WITHOUT JOE RYAN ON THE BALLOT, SINCE THE DEMOCRAT PARTY'S BOSSSES HAVE GIVEN UP ON TAKING THE 52ND DISTRICT FROM THE HUNETER DYNASTY.
Joe Ryan and Duncan Hunter participated in the biggest parade in San Diego this past weekend (July 4th, Independence Day)), but the Democrat took a pass on meeting and greeting 40,000 voters. What does that say about his intentions and why he is in the race. He seems to be going though the motions just to fill a spot on the ballot, so attention doesn't fall outside of the two major party candidates. The party isn't giving him the usual money to run, so he's just there doing nothing. In the primary, he just put up a few signs around La Mesa and El Cajon, while ignoring the rest of the County.
Without someone like Joe Ryan in the race, there won't be any candidate able to effectively challenge the way the two major party's behave during and after election season. Without Joe Ryan on the ballot, the election contest for the 52nd District race won't be an election, it will be a meaningless, boring, walkover, devoid of interesting debate. Duncan Hunter will stomp the Democrat by a relatively gigantic margin, without ever having to explain his family's support for the Fannie Mae bailout, Wall Street's deregulation of the derivatives market & deep water drilling off Pacific Beach.
Voters can ensure that the two major party candidates will be confronted about selling the nation out, time and time again, by going to the ballot-petition page, before July 15th (where you can print out a ballot petition form). The page contains complete instructions on how to fill in the ballot petition, along with a mailing address for completed petitions.
NOTE: THE DEMOCRAT DID SHOW UP FOR THE PARADE HELD IN DESCANSO ON jULY 10TH, BUT HE'S STILL NOT GOING ANYWHERE WITHOUT PARTY SUPPORT IN THE FORM OF CASH.
